Information technology is a compentency based course. At the end of the course the candidate is issued with a certificate of attainment or continues into the HSC Course.

Those students who continue and satisfy course requirements and achieve the units of competency described in the course structure will be able to receive AQF Certificate Level II - Information Technology.

While the competency based assessment is ongoing, students must also attempt the written tests and formal exams, to demonstrate an understanding of the knowledge which underpins the practical performance.
